Researching Native American Tribes

Using this guide, students will find sources in the school library, online reference sources, and various websites.
Step 1: General Research

Search the card catalog to find books specifically about the culture you are researching. For example, you may search for "Cherokee" or "Chickasaw" or "Sioux."
